PAGAN PRIDE PROJECT ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO 2001 EVENTS
A few events and policies have changed in the aftermath of the horrible tragedy on September 11 in New York City and Washington, DC. Please spread the word if you are local to any of these changes.
Pagan Pride Washington, DC -- Will still be held on September 22 from 10a-4p. The scheduled location, the White House Ellipse, is at this time still available for the event, but a backup location is being secured in case of changes. Stay updated on their website, http://www.openhearth.org/paganpride.
Pagan Pride New York City -- At this point, it looks as if Battery Park will be available on September 29, and that Pagan Pride NYC will go ahead as scheduled. The question remains as to whether New York public transportation will be running to Battery Park, so this _could_ change; stay on these lists or stay updated at their webpage, http://www.nyc-ppp.org. The ritual and focus of the event will move from a Harvest celebration to a Healing and World Peace ritual.
Pagan Pride Eastern Massachusetts (North Andover/North Boston area) -- Will occur on September 23 as scheduled.
If you have any questions, please contact PPP either at their website, http://www.paganpride.org, or at (317) 536-3145.
